Rugged and compact design
Featuring an IP66 and IP68 protection rating along with protective lenses, these vision systems are a rugged, space-saving and easy-to-service asset inside the machine envelope.
Three-in-one functionality
These camera systems automatically create images for efficient tool inspection, thereby enabling three functions in one system: tool measurement, tool microscopy and wear inspection.
Touchless in-process measurement
Non-contact measurement makes these camera systems ideal for sensitive edges. With tool presetting and in-process inspection, the VT 122 supports end mills, ball-nose cutters and drill bits at least 1 mm in diameter. The VT 121 can check tools for breakage.
Panoramic or close-up images
Both vision systems can take close-up images of each tooth, or detailed panoramic images of the entire tool circumference. The lighting angle can be adjusted for the virtual illumination of individual teeth. Tools can also be imaged from below for tool-tip inspection.
